The Education Administration in the City of Stockholm is Sweden's largest municipal administration with approximately 16,000 employees.

The unit for student health's operational support and reception in adapted schools is a unit within the Education Administration. We handle and decide on operational support, additional funding, and reception in adapted schools, as well as process applications to the city's special central teaching groups, CSU.

The unit collaborates closely with other units within the department and with other departments within the administration. We offer you the opportunity to work in an organization with high quality and with engaged and competent colleagues.

Your role

We are now looking for an employee with a strong commitment to cross-administrative work in general and students in need of special support in particular. The position is a permanent employment starting in February 2026 or by agreement.

You will be part of the team responsible for processing applications to CSU. The processing is carried out both independently and in close collaboration within the team. The tasks also include developing work processes and communication materials, as well as maintaining contact with schools in the city.

In addition, you will also be a resource for the other teams within the unit and contribute to the department's broader support for the operational departments.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for someone who has:

  • an academic university or college degree relevant to the position, such as special education, psychology, political science, or law
  • good experience of cross-administrative work and is used to managing and coordinating processes, resources, and strategies at an overarching level in a politically governed organization
  • documented experience of qualified processing within the applicable area, such as resource allocation for special support
  • several years of experience working with students in need of special support and various disabilities
  • good knowledge of the school's mission and governing documents
  • good computer skills and experience working in digital systems
  • very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Meritorious is:

  • experience working with students in need of special support in various school forms
  • experience in change management and development work
